WIREGRASS REGION OF SOUTHEAST ALABAMA
The Wiregrass Chapter SAR has undertaken a project to locate, catalog and mark the
graves of Revolutionary War Soldiers buried in the counties that make up the
Wiregrass area of Southeast Alabama. The catalog information for patriot graves
includes service record and background information, location of the grave to include
GPS coordinates and a picture of the grave marker. If you have information of
additional patriots buried in the Wiregrass area please contact the Graves Committee
Chairman.
